Fun Stuff!

Yesterday, I managed to wake up with a cold, but it's not too bad, luckily! I fortunately got 2 long letters from Micah that were stinkin' amazing! I Love him!! He is such a wonderful example to me and I learn new things from him and about him from each letter! :)

A few days ago, Suzy came over and was feeding Lincoln some dinner. Well, earlier that day, she had called and left a message of lincoln talking on our answering machine. My mom turned it on while they were over and it was hillarious to see his reaction of hearing himself on another machine. I wish I knew what he was thinking! Anyway, I recorded it and here is the video. Make sure you pause my music so you can hear him! He's adorable! :)

I can make it!

As we all know, finals are coming up this week and next week for most of us! I've been pretty stressed but I just realized, hey I can make it! We can! Haha-it's a great thing Christmas is coming soon so that we can celebrate even more! I can't wait to be able to relax and spend more time with my friends! Speaking of friends, a few weeks some of my girlfriends and I were able to go to Zupas for dinner! It was great to see everyone again and have Ashley Z back in town! I love you girls! We need to do it again soon with everyone there! :)

Thanksgiving was a nice break as well! I did have to work and write a lot of papers, but overall, I had a good time! My family and I went to my sister Natalie's house and my aunt, grandma, and cousins came. John, Haley, and cute little Afton came up too! Of course, I ate a ton! But I have to say it was well worth it, haha! After we came home, we watched the fabulous movie ELF and made some christmas cards! I love Christmas! Here are a few pictures from the wonderful day!:

That's my silly brother!

My New Love for Yoga!

So last night I developed a new love for Yoga! My ballet teacher was telling me about Bikram Yoga and I was very intrigued. I found a class and went last night. It was absolutely amazing! The thing that makes it different than regular yoga is that the room temperature is about 100 degrees or more, forcing you to sweat, and allowing your muscles to be more pliable and stretchable! It also gets rid of all your toxins in your body, helps with blood cells and regulates digestive system. Some call it the torture chamber! In fact, when I first got there, they told me my goal for the day was to stay in the room the entire time and if I got nausious than just sit and relax. Well, it was a little uncomfortable at first, and of course it smells like sweat, but you get used to it and it becomes natural. After awhile I didn't really notice the sweat. It was awesome though! It felt like I had just completed a cardio workout! I am really going to try my hardest to take this class at least once a week. It will definitely help with my dancing, flexibility and hopefully strengthen my back so I wont be in so much pain all the time. Anyway, I am hooked after my first time, so if anyone would like to come with me sometime, you're welcome :) GO YOGA! haha! NAMASTE! :)

(The picture is of my absolute favorite pose! I loved it!)

I have a Missionary?!

There is so much to say and so little time! Hopefully I won't bore anyone with my story since this will probably be like a journal entry. But, YES, you did read correctly, I do have a missionary- that I'm writing! I told myself I never would do that, but sometimes you just can't help it! His name is Micah Love! Isn't that the cutest name ever?? Well he is one of my best friend Moryah's brother. I've actually known him for a long time and we've wanted to date for forever but I guess we just never did because we were dating other people or we just lived so far away, it would've been too hard. But this past summer at the end of June, he called me and we finally went on a date! We totally hit it off and had the best conversations ever! He really is the sweetest guy and very well-rounded too! He has an amazing testimony and he loves soccer and basketball too! He's great!
Well, back to my story, as some of you may know, I was really hesitant to date him at first because he was leaving on a mission and besides that, Terry had just broken up with me so i didn't really want to be in another relationship. But there was part of me that really wanted to be with him too. We kept going on fun dates and just being great friends. Each time, I seemed to like him more and more! Well finally I came to realize that I was only saying that I didn't like him and didn't want a relationship because I was thinking that I had been dating other boys for a while and in the past I wouldn't usually date that much, so it seemed weird for me to be having a boyfriend again. Does that make sense? (sometimes i have weird logic that makes no sense at all) Well, of course, my friends and family are all so supportive and they help me too.
So.. finally, after not seeing Micah for a few weeks(due to vacatoin and pageant stuff) I realized how much I had really grown to love him! I was talking to my mom and i told her- "I don't care anymore about trying not to be in a relationship because that's such a stupid reason to not like someone when i really do! You know what mom, I love him! and I'm going to keep dating him even though he's leaving because maybe it was meant for me to meet and date him before he left!" (It soounds like I was yelling , but i was only just talking).
So yeah, of course, my mom is supportive and was wondering why I was hesitant in the first place because he is such a great guy! I guess i just didn't want to him to think about me while he's on his mission, I just wanted him to think about the mission you know.
So we kept dating, and things just seemed to be working out perfectly!

We went four-wheeling one night and we were talking about how he was leaving and that, I won't be essentially waiting for him, but if i'm still here when he returns and we still love eachother, then of course I'll marry him! I also told him why i was hesitant dating him at first and he said he was actually a little hesitant too. I did pray about it and it felt right for me. SO I felt like it was just fine! Anyway, so I told him i didn't want him to think about me while he was gone.. He said "don't worry I wont!" and then he started laughing a little because it sounded rude but he really didn't mean it that way. He said that he'd definitely think about me, but wouldn't let it interfere with his mission and studying, and the lord's will. I was so happy when he said that! It just made me feel so much better! I keep saying that if he were a return miissionary now, then I would marry him now, so we'll see what happens in 2 years. You know, he had to wait a little bit to go out on the mission becaue of health, and then he met me after, so maybe it really was meant for me to be with him. Only the Lord knows and I have to put my trust in him! I Love the gospel!
Well, he left last Wednesday so it hasn't even been a week! It kinda really stinks, but I'm so happy and proud of him! He's amazing! (to be continued...)

Surprise! I'm updating!

Wow! It's definately been a long long time since I've updated this-sorry! So much has happened! Well, since school has started, I've been dancing everyday, all day and I completely love it! I was registered for 18 credits but I had to drop Ethics and Values becasue my teacher was requiring an astronomical amount of homework and I could not handle 18 credits right now. So now I'm only in 15. I'm actually almost done with my generals! I think I only have like 3 left after this semester! I am incredably excited!

So for Synergy, the performing dance company I am on at UVU, we had a photo shoot! Those are always exciting because we got to dance around on stage while they took pictures of us! Well, if you think that's exciting, wait till you hear what we did next! We went out in the commons area and played in the waterfall while they took pictures of us! We were dancing in a waterfall! It was extremely cold (especially becasue it had rained earlier today) but we were also only in our leotards and black tights! Crazy! Oh, but at the very end, we all went through the falls at the same time and made cool poses for the picture-but, haha my cool pose didn't really exist becasue right when I bursted through the water, I jammed my toe on a light that was in the water that i hadn't seen! It hurt so bad and now there's a bruise! I wasn't too smart on that on! Haha. Overall, I had a fabulous time and It was definately worth getting cold and jammin the toe! Haha! Oh by the way, we have a concert Novemeber 13-15 if anyone is interested :)

TOday is my Sister Suzy's wedding anniversary!! Yay! Congrats big sis! Love you and Nate!

A few days before school started, my mom and brother in law, Nate Allan hiked timpanogos to the very top to see the Sunrise! Ashley Greenwood actually started a tradition of going and we went there a week before. I loved it so much i had to take my family! It is a very fun experience! The hike is definately a lot colder at night on top and a little scary in the dark, but well worth it! Timpanogos is the best mountain ever, in my opinion :) Anyway, here are some pictures of both beautiful hikes!
Trip #2:

So I totally fell asleep right there just waiting for the sun to come up and trying to get warm!

Can you say..Sleep deprived?

Wow! THis weekend has literally been non-stop. I love to be busy all the time, but not sleep deprived. I work at the hospital so they are constantly needing workers at night for the patients. THis week's been busy with my Ririe-Woodbury workshop so the only times for me to work are at night. Don't get me wrong, i absolutely love my job as a Psych Tech! It is a great experience and a lot of fun! So this was my schedule last weekend:

Thursday: 6:30 am: wake up and drive to salt lake for dance. Leave at 4 pm. I went shopping at the gateway! That was fun until i found out i was supposed to be at work so i rushed home and worked till midnight. 1 AM-Sleep.

Friday: 6:30-4pm: dance. Came home, showered and went to Cortney Conrad's wedding reception! I can't believe she's married now! I love her! I'm so happy for her. Then took a nap at 9:30pm that night. Went to work from 11:30-6:30 am.

Saturday: 6:30 am-come home from work and rode the bicycle for 45 min. Showered, went to Highland Parade. Then napped for 3 hours. Went back to work at 5:30 pm

SUnday: Came home from work at 6:30 am. slept for 1 hour. WEnt to church. slept for 3 hours. Then My amazing Grandma invited me over for dinner because my parents have been gone all weekend long to Fish Lake. I love my grandma! She's the sweetest ever! Then the rest of the day was just chill!

I'm not meaning to complain-i just don't recommend doing that at all. I was loosing my appetite and I was getting all shaky too! Don't tell anyone, but i actually ran a stop sign because i was starting to fall asleep while i was driving! It was the scaryiest thing ever! If it wasn't right next to my house then i would have pulled over and did some push ups or something, but i was ok.

When things like that happen i can't help but remember how much the lord loves and protects me! Last week when i was driving home, I was drowsy so i called my mom and right when she answered, I was rearing off into another lane. She wasn't even going to answer her phone becasue she was driving, but she said she had a feeling she needed too! She basically saved my life! Words cannot describe how grateful I am to have the church in my life and how blessed we are to have the Lord on our side! This weekend, i also realized how easy it is to get distracted and forget to do the important things like praying and reading my scriptures, when those are the most crucial things in life! The Lord is not goig to be as willing to help and protect me if I don't do my part. So I definitely am going to be better at that. Well sorry to ramble. Bottom line-I love the Gospel!! :)

SLEEPOVER!!

Here's cute little Mattea, my neice, eating her delicious corn on the cob! That night I decided to pick up Mattea on the way home from work and took her home with me to have a sleepover! I've been promising her and Jason for a long time. She was so sweet, she was wishing that Jason and her mommy could sleep over too, but Jason will have his chance another week. I thought it'd be more fun for them to do it seperately. SO on the way home, we stopped at Macey's to pick up yummy fruit to make Smoothies! We made them after we ate our corn-Delicious! So when we got home, I asked her what she wanted to do and she wanted to go outside. So first we started rolling down the hill in our back yard. Then, since we were so hot, we just had to turn on the sprinklers! So Mattea and I just started running through the sprinklers in our clothes-it was WAY hot! That definitely hit the spot! :) Then when we were drying off, she wanted to play Princesses! That was so fun-haha i felt like I was her age again, running around like a princess and looking for Queen Grandma! After "Queen Grandma" came home, we went to the park and played on the playground. Then came home, ate, and watched her favorite, Sleeping Beauty! She was soooo tired and it was after her bedtime so we went to sleep in Suzy's old bed. She definitely is a wiggler while she sleeps, but it was fun! I took her to ballet in the morning, which she loves! She was smiling the entire time! She is getting so good-she must have got those genes from me, haha just kidding! She's a cutie! I love little neices!

Fourth of July Parade!

The fourth of July Parade was WONDERFUL! The weather was perfect because it was overcast! Of course, it could've been a bit cooler, especially with those dresses, but we couldn't have asked for better weather! It was so fun to see all my friends and family! This sounds dumb, but i just love to smile! So being in parades is perfect! Kelly did awesome for just having knee surgery! You Go Girl! It's so fun to see little kids get all excited to wave at you! It's a good self-esteem booster :) I love it! Once we reached the end of the parade, our cars were all the way on Bulldog Boulevard so...we rode the float all the way to our cars! We were going like 30 miles an hour on it! It was awesome!! Haha!
The rest of the day was fun too! I went with my family to all the booths at the Freedom Festival and my dad bought me a cool necklace charm. THanks Dad! Then we had a picnic with Suzy's and Natalie's in-laws! That was fun! Of after that, my dad needed help collecting flags from yards in the ward, so Suzy, Nate and I were running around the neighborhood and riding on the back of the truck with our dad! It was pretty funny! I think Nate collected the most, but I wasn't far behind ;) . To finish off the night, we went and watched the Stadium of Fire fireworks. They're always amazing! That was a fun day!! Being in the Royalty has been a BLAST!

Strawberry Days!!

This week was Strawberry Days in Pleasant Grove!! It was a lot of fun! I had my first experience at a rodeo! I actually LOVED it! Haha I thought it was so amazing and funny at the same time! As Strawberry Days Royalty, we got to ride in a carriage around the arena and wave to everyone. It was simple, but fun! I loved to watch the Motocross boys do their awesome tricks off the ramp! I was scared for them, it didn't look like they we going to make some of those flips! It was amazing! I also loved to watch the wild-cow milking! It was so scary! A few people almost got their heads trampled under some crazy momma cows. They do some pretty cruel things to those animals at the rodeo, like shocking the bulls and roping the cows to the ground till they can't move. Haha It's really kind of sad, but It's cool that people can actually do things like that. !! I don’t know how the people get the desire to do some of those events-As my mom would say, “They’re just “Red-Necks”” (Meaning Hillbillies) Haha, my mom’s funny! Sometimes I wish that I could trade lives with the Rodeo Queens(only a day though, ha ha) -I think it'd be so fun to ride the horses, and wear the awesome wrangler jeans! I think I'll just stick to the Scholarship pageants, ha ha. It's really fun to be with the Rodeo girls, their very sweet! For the other events for Strawberry Days, we had a parade, children's day, baby contest (Our moms helped judge with us), carnival, Pie-eating contest (which I lost, ha ha) and much more. I enjoyed be involved in it all.

Ashley came with me to the Rodeo on Thursday! I was so excited to play and spend time with her! We didn't really know what was going on at first, but we figured it out :) I love her guts! After the rodeo, we watched the results for So You Think You Can Dance! I loved Shane Spark's dance-Amazing!

Saturday, I took Kala to the Carnival because the Royalty got free tickets. What was I thinking?! It was a lot of fun, but by the end, I was SO SO Sick! Fortunately for Kala, after all the spinning and spinning, I didn't throw up on her. Haha, well I didn't throw up at all, but I was sure close to it!

My parents came and watched Saturday-bless their hearts! They were both super tired after my dad came home from Scout Camp and my mom had just finished running the Wasatch Back Relay (which means she didn't sleep for like 2 days) She did great-GO MOM! I think they had a lot of fun though! They also got free food of course because the royalty gets free food. I ate Strawberries and cream like every single day last week. Probably not so smart-but it only happens once a year! Haha.

I loved spending so much time with all the Royalty this past week! They seriously are wonderful and amazing girls :) I'm so happy we're becoming such good friends! I love them all!

This video was just for fun! (Notice I forgot the lens would be zoomed up on our faces! Whoops! Ha ha)

ATTENTION ALL GIRLIES!

OK so I talked to my dad and we may be going to Fish Lake after strawberry days-the last week of june or the beginning of july! SO I'll let y'all know :) Let me know when's best for you. Love you girls! :)

Fabulous week!

Wow, a lot has happened this week! First of all, I got a new job!! I will be working at the Utah Valley Hospital as a Psychiatric Technician! I am very very excited! I know it will be an awesome experience for me! My brother used to work there, but he moved and then he told me about it and I have been applying for months and finally got it! I'm super excited! I'll basically be doing the exact same thing I do at lindon care, except I'll also be checking their vital signs and even more direct care for people with mental disabilities! I love those people! I'll still be working at Lindon Care as a "Holiday" employee. I won't have a schedule, but I"ll be able to work whenever I want. I just couldn't quit entirely because I love the residents there way too much!

On Wednesday, I went to a knee specialist and he drained the fluid out of the bursitus in my knee and then injected it with a cortazone shot to help it heal quickly. The reason, besides running that I got bursitus is because of one-too many blows on my knee while dancing. I landed on my knees way too much at the studio that it just decided to get irritated. But it is healing and I can run now and finally get back in shape after loosing all the muscle I had just gained! I'm excited to go run!

Yesterday, after my mom came home from work, we hiked up to Stewart Falls! It's just a fun little hike with a huge bonus at the end! The Falls were beautiful! THen when I came home, Terry and I picked up a jamba Juice and headed over to Bridal Veil Falls! Two water falls in one day! Bridal Veil was amazing and Terry was so sweet to help me on the slippery parts because I was unprepaired with flip-flops on! Haha. Thanks Terry! :) You're the best! He really is :) That was so fun to hang out with him again! It always is! (The first picture is Bridal Veil and the second is Stewart Falls)

Memorial Day

Check out my fish! Ha, ha, I caught it on Monday. It's a Splake :) So every year, since before I was born, my family always goes to our cabin in Fish Lake for Memorial Day Weekend. We usually go fishing, hiking, and four-wheeling. Well this weekend, we were lucky to be able to just get some fishing in! The weather was crazy! One second the sun was shining and it was a little warm, then the next it was freezing and snowing! It's May, not November! Haha. Sunday was the warmest, but it was a good thing we left on Monday because we litterally were driving in a blizzard! I felt bad for John, my dad, and Uncle Paul because when they had to get the boat out of the lake IN the blizzarding wind and snow! Good thing they're tough! Haha ;) For the most part we had a lot of fun! It was nice to just go and relax and be outside in the mountains :) Haley, my mom, and I must have gone on a million walks! I'm sorry, but I don't know what men love about watching the Indie 500 race! Haha, I swear, what's so exciting about watching cars race in circles? Ha ha. So while they were busy watching that, we hit the trails :) I'm hoping that my dad will let me take all my girl friends up there sometime this summer and just have a girl's weekend! I would love that-it's so fun girls! Let me know if you're interested :) Our cabin's still a little 1970's ghetto, ha ha, but it's still a lot of fun! :) Enjoy the goofy pictures of my brother and my Dad! The little girl is Afton, John and Haley's baby girl! What a cutie! :)

Josh Groban is the Best!

So my mom surprised me and bought the Josh Groban Awake live in concert DVD and CD yesterday and I was so excited! Natalie and I went to his concert last fall and it was more than amazing!! They actually filmed the concert we were at for the DVD! So who knows, maybe I'll see myself in the audience! Ha...yeah right, but that'd be cool! :) For anyone who has not experienced Josh's GREATNESS, you can come watch it with me because he is amazing! :)

Last night after I was done teaching ballet, I ate dinner and went for a walk with my daddy (YAY!) and then I got really sick! It was insane! I was just really sick to my stomache and all throughout the night I was like throwing up! Sorry for the gross details, but it was not fun! Today, I'm actually feeling better, thankfully. I actually watched Josh Groban right when I woke up:)
I am excited for tonight though because we have three city council meetings! It's just fun to get dressed up and be with my girls :)
Well, I'm off to study anatomy! Yay! haha! Love you all!

My Past Weekend!

Ok this past weekend had to have been one of the best! My brother, John and his wife came in town because Jason, my nephew got baptized on Saturday and my other nephew, Lincoln was blessed on Sunday! So that was something really eventful for my family! Jason's baptism went really well. Natalie gave a great talk too! Then we went to Chuck-a-rama, which I don't necessarily love, but was really good I guess, considering I was so stuffed! Ha! It was also my Grandma's birthday, so we were celebrating for her and we sang to her too! That was fun! My grandma is a cutie!! At 3 pm , Saturday, we had our first little event for Miss PG royalty. Well, not really, but we went to the Strawberry Days Rodeo Pageant to support the queen and the royalty that we'll be working with for part of the summer. That was fun to hang out with the girls and get a little taste of the rodeo :) The girls were so decked-out in their high-waisted tight jeans with embroidery and curly hair! Ha I love it! I wish I could ride a horse! The girl that won did really well. We knew she was going to be in the top. Then, at 6 o'clock, Terry came over and we went to meet his friend at Tepenyaki's (Spelling?) in Sandy. We had to wait a while because his friend, got lost, but it was ok because i just got to talk to Terry even more :) The food was so so good and the chef was amazing!! Ha I love watching them make the food right in front of you! They do the coolest tricks too! We even caught shrimp in our mouths! Well, I did, after I missed the first one-oops! Ha, but it was really fun!

After that, we went back to Terry's house and roasted marshmallows (not olives(Inside joke) ha) That was a lot of fun too! Overall, the night was amazingly fun! :)

Sunday, was definitely the best day I've had in a long time! It was so refreshing and uplifting-literally the whole day! It started with Lincoln's blessing, which was great! Suzy and Nate both bore their testimonies-which I love! You could tell how much love Suzy and Nate have for their child and each other and especially the gospel! After the meeting was over, we had lunch at the Andersons, our other family! :) It was so incredibly warm outside-I even got a little pink from the sun! It was fun to visit with the family!

Terry and I went to the CES fireside at BYU by Russell M. Nelson. It was about choosing appropriate music. It went really well, except I was a little dissappointed because it was very short! But I loved the music, AND I learned something new! Nelson's first wife died and he got remarried to another lady in 2006. I never knew that!

Terry and I have decided that we LOVE tunnel singing! If anyone ever can and wants to come with us, PLEASE DO! (Every sunday at 10 pm) So we were planning to go that night, but we still had time before it started. So ate some ice cream and watched a little Joseph Smith movie-which was really well done, actually! Then we went Tunnel singing! It's so nice to just go there and feel the spirit! Of course, you have to make sure to stand next to the right people because some people just go there to goof off or flirt. Many of you may know that I can't really sing well! Haha I'm not ashamed to admit it, so going to sing everyweek was kind of risky for me, but I guess my voice isn't too bad if people still stand and sing next to me, haha!

SO as you can tell, Sunday was a very spiritually-fed day! I am so grateful for our gospel and the knowlege we have from it! I'm so grateful I have friends and family that I can do gospel activities with and have fun!! There are so many opportunities for us ! It's amazing!

Tuesday, April 29, 2008

Today I saw Jody and Ashlyn, both in the same day! What a great day! And I got to go to ballet-which I miss tremendously! I was at the mall looking for shoes for all the pageant activities this summer and Jody works at Downeast, so I had to go see her :) (Thanks Jody, Love ya!) and I saw Ashlyn and I was so excited! I didn't even know she worked at the mall! :) Well I just have to say, the shoes I had in mind were not at Forever Young anymore, so I went to the Cozy clothing store down the street and they had them and the price was lower too! I was happy! Ha-Yes Shoes do bring my joy! Ha jk!
SO last night, Terry took me to see Emma Smith, the movie. It was REALLY good! The music was beautiful too, I want the soundtrack! It was just so good to see things through Emma's perspective. We always see Joseph's story, which is great, but this doesn't even show the martyrdom, it just focuses on Emma and her feelings and experiences with Joseph and the church. I definitely recommend this movie! I loved it! Thanks Terry! :)
Yesterday, before i went to the movie, my mom and I went hiking up dry canyon! I was so happy to be hiking again! Especially with my mom! She was really injured last year so I was always going alone, or with Ashley (Thanks ash! I love you! We have to do that again this year ok!) So it is nice to go with my mother again! We saw so many deer, they were right next to the trail! We only went 4 miles, but it was fun and worth it! I'm kinda getting frustrated now because I've been running a lot more to stay in shape while I'm not dancing as much and it feels great, like I've been running 4 miles! That's a lot for me! I'm frustrated though because my knees are starting to bother me and I have fluid in one knee from when I banged it at dance, but now it's filling with more fluid! So I don't know what to do! I just want to be happy and healthy and in shape! Maybe I'll have to start swimming-except i struggle with breathing, hah! I need help! Ha!
I start school tomorrow!...Again! :( But I'm only taking anatomy and fit for life, so it shouldn't be too bad., I hope! Well Love you all, that's the latest!

Jump Rope for Heart

Thursday was my final day at Rock Canyon Elementary working with the students and the Jump Rope for Heart program :( Fortunately, I will be continueing my platform soon with Franklin Elementary in Provo-even though the pageant is over, they need my help and I LOVE playing with the little kids, so I am excited!!
Well on Thursday, it was a LOT of fun! There were about 4 different PE classes that came in while I was there and we jump-roped and had relays and contest, etc.! Something really funny and cute happened! As the second class came running in, a little blonde boy that looks just like my nephew dove straight to the floor and began doing push-ups! So I ran over to him and said-"Good job! You're doing awesome!!" and then I asked him why he was doing so many. He said, "BECAUSE...when I'm big and STRONG, I want to be able to hold the world!" Then I laughed and said WOW, and told him that he needed to come get me when he is able to do that because I want to see it! Then he laughed and said "OK, but I'm ALSO going to be carrying Jupiter too!" Haha! So I thought that was really really cute! I love little kids! They are just so innocent and have their little ideas that I love! Ha! Something else that was cool was that all these girls like formed a circle around me while we were jump-roping just so I could see how many times they were jumping! It was like a competition for them-that was cool to see and to see how much fun they were having! This was definitely a great experience for me and I am so grateful for all the help that was put into getting my program started :) Thanks everyone! Love ya!

The REAL Latest! :)

Ok so I went on the funnest date last week! I took my friend Terry to Color Me Mine!! We painted a ceramic plate and bowl for eachother. It may sound boring, but don't be fooled-it's AMAZINGLY FUN!! Terry and I both love art and this was a great way to use some creativeness! Haha! We actually went to Applebee's first, which was really yummy! Then I we went to Color Me Mine. There was even live accompaniment for us while we were painting. I think his name is Dustin Christianson, and he is in a group called Jerrytown. He was playing his acoustic guitar for us. I LOVE the Acoustic guitar-it makes me want to keep practicing mine sinse I've been a slacker, haha! We can't pick up our plates until this thursday because they fire and glaze them, but I can't wait! I'm excited to see them and eat some delicious cereal out of the gorgeous bowl Terry painted for me:) Ha ha, if you didn't already know, I love cereal! After Color Me Mine, we went back to his house and he showed me some of his mission pictures (so amazing!) and then we went crazy with the camera and took lots of pictures! I love pictures-they're fun! Terry has become a new best friend to me! He has an awesome outgoing personality and he has an amazing testimony as well! I feel so priviledged to know him! He is a wonderful guy :)
I've posted some of the pictures from our date! Enjoy!! :)
